Our client a leading automotive company seated in Frankfurt/Main is looking for a
- Manages all aspects of the international compensation programs including the job evaluation, market analysis, salary ranges, compensation proposal, annual merit increase, annual management incentive and international assignment offer and administration, etc.
- Consults with various country HR organizations in day to day salary administration matters or compensation issues
- Participates in compensation surveys and conducts analysis of survey results. Identifies market trends and issues and makes recommendations to management as appropriate regarding external market competitiveness.
-Managing and administrate the European HQs payroll
- Provides input for the development of the annual merit budget for countries in Europe. Implements the annual merit process for the international arena, including development of salary ranges and merit increase guidelines.
- Administers and develops incentive plans as needed for the EU countries.
- Works closely with HR Manager and KMC in managing benefits programs in the EU arena. Conducts analysis, identifies benefits trends/issues and make recommendation to management as appropriate.
- Prepares ad hoc EU compensation and benefits reports and analyses, researches, compiles and interprets internal and external data as needed.
- Determines the effectiveness of current EU compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures and recommends revisions as needed.
- Monitors the delivery of compensation and benefits programs to ensure compliance with country legislation.
- Works with outside vendor and Finance/Legal departments
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources/Business or the equivalent in related work experience.
- The ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information is critical.
- Problem solving will require an in-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits policy and practice.
- Willingness to travel (10-15%) to attend meetings and conduct business
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), suitable languages advantageous
- Four or more years of HR generalist or compensation and benefits experience, with at least three years of multinational experience demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits practices in multiple countries.
- Broad exposure to proven programs combined with a hands-on approach to developing, implementing and managing programs such as job evaluation, market analysis, performance based incentive, equity programs, benefits programs and international assignment/transfers. Competence in legal and taxation implication of compensation policies and programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Access a plus.
- Must demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, results and customer orientation, strong presentation and interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to independently manage multiple tasks/projects concurrently
